The Home is designed for the residence and associated facilities for infirmary, care and attention and old people services for a total of 252 residents. The design response to the site and the approved schedule of accommodation from the Social Welfare Department. Three square blocks are integrated to form the basic concept of the building. The middle houses mainly central facilities with the two adjacent blocks of residential units focusing to the courtyards. These courtyards allow opportunities for interaction which is an important aspect to the internal organization.
